Jehovah Rapha – The Lord That Heals
In order to receive healing you have to be aware of the need.
Accept that need, seek the Healer or go to the Great Physician. ( go to the Dr.)
Throughout the Old Testament we read how God’s people continually rebelled and turned to other gods, and the results was sickness, disease, broken heartedness, sorrow, bondage, poor in spirit and even poverty. With that first sin Adam and Eve’s spirit man became sin sick.
We see also when you study the scriptures that God was there to forgive and heal. God made a statute and ordinance for the people.
If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statues, none of the diseases will be on you as with the Egyptians. For I am The Lord that Heals you.
And the Promise of a Savior, Our Lord Jesus The Messiah.
Jehovah Rapha – The Lord That Heals
The word Jehovah – Is translated “The Existing One” or “Lord”
This denotes a God who reveals Himself. Unceasingly – endlessly continually revealing Himself. Hebrew meaning “to be” or “to become known”
Not only will God reveal Himself, He wants to. God wants you to get to know Him, to get to know Him endlessly,
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6: to first above all things to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Then everything else will fall in place. All the things you are concerned about will in fact be added to your account.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Jehovah Rapha – The Lord That Heals
Rapha – Hebrew verb means “to restore” “ to heal” or “to make healthful”
When put together the two words can be translated as “Jehovah Who Heals” Jehovah the Great Physician who heals the physical and emotional needs of His people. Involving the entire person, Yahweh Rophe (yah –WEH ro-FEH) heals the mind body and soul.
This Hebrew verb is also used as; God heals the Nations, the land the water.
Sickness, disease, broken heartedness, sorrow, bondage, poor in spirit and even poverty, is brought on by sin,

Galatians 3
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
We read in the New Testament how Jesus is the Great Healer, who delivered us from the wages of sin and ALL it brings.
Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
Luke 4
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Glory to God.
